This Day in History: 1918-05-30

The 1st Battalion sent a force of 600 men commanded by Capt McCleverty towards Hamadan in western Persia from where they occupied three posts along the route from Peitak to Kerind as protection against possible threats from the ‘troublesome Sinjabi tribe’.
