Remembrance Day Parade 2022 in Kathmandu

Submitted by Major Sudan Dewan, who reported: ‘A two minutes silence was observed at 11 am at the Cenotaph in George Square on Sunday 13 November 2022 to mark Remembrance Sunday.  A Guard of Honour was provided by The Royal Navy and the Band by His Majesty’s Royal Marines Scotland.  It seemed rather poignant gathering, in a way that hasn’t been possible for the last few years, even though Remembrance has continued during Covid but in small-scale.’
