This Day in History: 1902-08-09

The Regiment sent 20 All Ranks to represent Goorkhas at the King Edward VII’s Coronation Celebrations in London on 9 August 1902. The two sets of old Colours of the Regiment (kept at the Royal United Service Institution) were carried by Captains Watson, Lindsay and Watt and Subedar-Major Hastbir Gharte.
