This Day in History: 1941-12-16

The 2nd Battalion reached Parit Buntar near Penang, forming a defensive line to provide cover for stragglers withdrawing in the face of the Japanese advance, before moving back to Sungei Siput and then to Ipoh which they had left only a week previously.
