This Day in History: 1950-01-28

Captain R S Clarke, Commanding A Company of the 2nd Battalion, was awarded a bar to his Military Cross for successfully attacking a camp containing 250 Communist Terrorists (CTs). 6 were killed and several wounded; the remainder fled. Captain Clarke himself was wounded in the mouth but recovered.
