7 Platoon of C Company of the 2nd Battalion, working with B Company (Major Joy), encountered the resting place of a 40-strong Indonesian patrol. A quick attack forced the enemy to withdraw, followed up by 6 Platoon and other elements of B Company. 4 Indonesians, including an officer, were killed. One Gurkha was killed and 6 wounded.
