To maintain links with and support both Sirmoor Club Nepal (SCN) and

Sirmoor Club UK (SCUK).

2.3. To operate or function in tandem with (SCN) and (SCUK) as the changing

MEMBERSHIP

3.1

Membership of the Association is open to any qualified individual (ie, all ex-

Gurkha all ranks plus those who are still serving, who had been cap-badged to

Bn) who is committed to promoting the objectives of the

Association through their connections with the former Regiment. There shall be

the following categories of members:

3.2 Full Members

. All ex-Gurkha all ranks who had been cap-badged into either

the 1

st

Bn or 2

nd

Bn during the course of their service. This includes those who are

still serving in the Brigade of Gurkhas and/or other British Regiments who meet

these criteria.

3.3 Associate Members:

(Will Not Have Voting Rights)

(a)

Gurkha Officers or Other Ranks seconded or attached to the former

Regiment.

(b)

Midwives, Pundits, Teachers and Sunars who served with the former

Regiment.

3.4

Honorary Members:

(Will Not Have Voting Rights)

(a)

Widows of deceased Members.

(b)

Member children above 18 year will become Honorary Member, if they

wish to join. Its endorsed by Annual general meeting (AGM) on 12 July

2015.

3.5

The Committee must keep a register of members.

3.6

An initial one-off membership

fee

of

£5

must be paid by each member. It has

been named as the

‘Last

Ritual

Fund

or this money also can be used other

purpose if needed.

3.7

A member who refuses to pay this

one‐off fee

of

£5

will not be eligible for 

vote to Association executive member.
