He is to ensure that the 2GR Assoc-UK (Sirmoor Sathies’) Annual
Report reaches the Hon Sec of (SCUK) electronically at least four weeks
in advance of the SRA(SC) and Trustees’ meeting, which usually takes
place in the last week of February
.
(h)
He should instruct the Public Relations (PR) Officer to send all articles
and photos to the editor of Nepal Sirmooree by mid-June of each year.
(i)
In liaison with (SCN), he should arrange the import of Regtl Ties, Sun
Hats, Gurkha Museum Diaries and Regimental Accoutrements from Nepal
as per the demand of the UK-Sathies.
5.4 Vice-Chairman –
in the absence of the Chairman, carry out all the duties
listed above in sub-Paras
(a)
to
(i)
of
Para 5.3.
5.5 The Gen Secretary
(a)
In the absence of the Chairman and Vice-Chairman, chair all meetings
(b)
Record minutes of all decisions taken at Committee meetings
(c)
Promulgate decisions taken by the Committee to the members
(d)
Carry out all administrative work for the Committee and its Sub-
Committee(s) as required.
5.6 The Treasurer
(a)
Maintain the Accounts of 2 GR Assoc-UK (Sirmoor Sathies)
(b)
Ensure that Expenditure and Income are recorded and announced
succinctly on Delhi Day
(c)
Carry out as accurate a Budgetary Forecast as
possible by the end of June of each year so that the Committee can establish
the rate of Entry Fee for Delhi Day celebrations. The following factors should
be taken into consideration:
(1)
Balance remaining from previous year
(2)
Grant approved by the Trustees for Delhi Day
(3)
Travel and administrative cost of Nisani Mai and its Escorts
(4)
Venue charge
(5)
Food cost
(6)
Entertainment/PA system cost
(7)
Security cost.
(8)
Paramedics, Security and other essential Miscellaneous Costs.
5.7 Public Relations Officer (PR) And Editor
